This Givry 1er Cru is grown on south exposed slopes and offers a nose of ripe, almost cooked red fruits with a hint of spices. However, the palate is delicate with forest fruits flavours and a lot of well integrated tannins.
The Sarrazin brothers (Guy and Jean-Yves) are leading the family estate respectively since 1986 and 1992. At this time the vineyard covered 12 hectares which tripled to reach a total of 35 hectares today. The Sarrazin brothers value tradition in both the vineyard and winery but remain curious about modern innovation and test with fellow winemakers to learn and develop their craft.
