Touraine Amboise Mont Luma Cot Domaine Bonnigal-Bodet 2018

This Cot wine is a strong ruby red with aromas of blackberries, plums, cinnamon, cloves, and pepper. It is full-bodied with lots of dark fruit, velvety tannins, and a strong acidity. The finish is long-lasting.

Jean-Baptiste Bonnigal and Stephane Bodet have been close friends for a long time. After an experience In New Zealand and Australia, Jean-Baptiste has worked with Fran?ois Chidaine in Montlouis-sur-Loire. Then he invited Stephane to join him in managing the family domaine in Limeray, near Amboise. Domaine Bonnigal Bodet is located on a hillside on the north bank of the Loire and specializes in cultivating chenin and chardonnay grapes. The winery produces wines from two main appellations : Touraine and Cremant de Loire.
