The nose is fine with hints of chalk and truffle. The palate offers enveloping tannins on ripe fruits, leather, and blond tobacco. The finish is long and persistent.
Since 1987, Domaine Wilfrid Rousse has extended over 19.5 hectares between the communes of Savigny-en-Veron, Beaumont-en-Veron and Chinon. It is made up of 18 hectares planted with Cabernet Franc with which Wilfrid makes the red wine vintages and half a hectare of Chenin completes the plot. The Estate is managed in Organic Agriculture.
