Domaine d'Ouréa
Adrien ROUSTAN
Ouréa is the name of the mountains’ Greek God. As the domaine owns the highest vineyard in Gigondas up amongst the Dentelles de Montmirail, the name is very fitting to this incredibly beautiful vineyard. The domaine was established in 2010 when Adrien Roustan inherited vines from his grandfather including 4.5 ha of Gigondas located in the spectacular Grand Montmirail vineyard together with some Vacqueyras and Côtes-du-Rhône
The vines are farmed organically with the domaine being certified since 2012.
In the cellar, Adrien uses whole cluster as much as possible. The fruits are harvested early in order to preserve both freshness and fruitiness. The reds are vinified and aged in concrete tanks whereas the whites and rosés go through an oak barrels ageing.
